Luxury car manufacturer Bentley has finally unveiled its long-awaited SUV project, the Bentayga. A natural, updated successor to the brand’s EXP 9 F concept, the car is the most powerful and fastest SUV on the market. Equipped with the ability to hit 60-miles-per-hour within four seconds, the Bentayga has a top speed of 187 miles-per hour and, according to Autoblog, will be available in a seven-seat version, more efficient diesel and hybrid variants and a higher performance speed model. The Bentley Continental Flying Spur was always hampered by one thing – no, I'm not talking about VW Phaeton’s platform, because that was excellent and gave the driver huge confidence. The thing that hampered the car was the fact it was called Continental, meaning it shared a lot in common with its (cheaper) two-door sibling the Continental GT – it was a version of that model with two extra doors. Now, though, the new model has gained a more distinct body and a new name - the Flying Spur full stop. MotorTrend magazine flew all the way to China to find out what the new Flying Spur is all about. Some Bentleys are meant for driving, and some are well suited to serving as small limousines. The 2014 Bentley Flying Spur ($TBA) lies somewhere inbetween. Based on the Continental GT, the Flying Spur offers driver-focused features like a twin-turbocharged 6.0L W12 engine pumping out 616hp, a ZF eight-speed transimssion, a rear-biased all-wheel drive system, a computer-controlled air suspension, a 0-60 time of 4.3 seconds, and a top speed of 200 mph.
