First came the road toy,the First came the road toy,the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive in the AMG Electricbeam Magno matte yellow paint. Price? $435,000 USD. The next logical “forget you, recession” power move from the German marque is making that car into an EFFING boat: the Cigarette AMG Electric Drive Concept, an impossibly long watercraft painted in that same wild, volt-esque color scheme. Seen first at the Miami International Boat Show, the 38-foot long powerboat is actually run on two of the same electric powertrains that the SLS uses. [See More]
As the last installment of the Red Line series we get to see the public finally get a chance to drive the new all wheel drive Porsche 911 Carrera 4. The video starts out telling us that it's below zero around 9AM and that it's a great driving day. I loved seeing the cars started and thawing so that they can be driven around the track and tested in ways only Porsche could be tested. I'd love to be a part of this event, getting ready in the freezing morning and driving my favorite car in a once in a lifetime experience. Check it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed. Enjoy.
Some Bentleys are meant for driving, and some are well suited to serving as small limousines. The 2014 Bentley Flying Spur ($TBA) lies somewhere inbetween. Based on the Continental GT, the Flying Spur offers driver-focused features like a twin-turbocharged 6.0L W12 engine pumping out 616hp, a ZF eight-speed transimssion, a rear-biased all-wheel drive system, a computer-controlled air suspension, a 0-60 time of 4.3 seconds, and a top speed of 200 mph. For those who choose to let someone else take the wheel, rear seat occupants are treated to niceties like electrically-operated rear side blinds, a bottle cooler, an available 1,100 Watt Naim audio system, a touch screen remote for controlling climate and entertainment options, heated seats, an optional built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, dual 10" screens, each with its own multimedia player, USB charging ports, and wireless headphones.

Once this concept becomes reality, everybody who’s anybody will want to ride out into the sunset on an ARAC ZXS. Designer Marko Petrovic really put everything together beautifully and minimally, even going as far as locking the fuel-injected twin-v motor in an ultra-lightweight aluminum chassis. Small, light, but obviously with a big “heart”, this baby will win you any futuristic street race aesthetically yet aggressively. Turn real life into a (non-violent) video game on top of the ARAC ZXS… hopefully soon. [See More]
It does look quite a bit like any other C-Class Benz — but a closer look at the hood should tell you that you're not dealing with any run-of-the-mill C250. The 2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507 ($TBA) is even more powerful than the standard C63, milking 507 hp from the naturally-aspirated, 6.3L V8. All that power is good for a 0-60 time of 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 174 mph. Other features include that heat-expelling hood, taken from the Coupe Black Series, as well as light-alloy forged wheels, a sports stripe above the rocker panels, and exclusive interior and exterior liveries.
Azimut marked the 150th anniversary of Italian unification in 2012 by relaunching one of its most popular and successful models. Newly dubbed the Azimut 62S Italia ($2,620,000 USD) in honor of the occasion, the 62S reminded us that she blew our socks off when we tested her in her original guise six years ago. She had everything—looks, performance, comfort, and innovation. In fact, she seemed to us to be pretty near perfect. Design, charm and history are what you get in the name of this yacht, with its sleek, dynamic profile. Enjoy.
We are not sure whether Chris Harris, the BMW M6 or the Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG need an introduction. But to be on the safe side, Mr. Harris is a famous automotive engineer with a great passion for cars and amazing driving skills, the BMW M6 is the M version of BMW’s biggest coupe, the 6er and comes with a 555hp 4.4l turbocharged V8. Finally, the SL63 AMG is equipped with a 530hp 5.5l turbocharged V8, hand-built in Affalterbach, Germany.
